Randall Elliott Dalton is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, the second youngest of seven children. His early education was obtained in Cincinnati public schools; he graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1968. He received a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from Howard University in 1972 and a Medical degree (M.D.) from Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1976. Randall was a General Surgery Resident at the Barnes Hospital Group, St. Louis, Missouri, for three years before entering the U.S. Army in 1980. The Army provided Dr. Dalton with his initial Otolaryngology training and clinical experiences --- He served as “Chief of ENT Services” at Irwin Army Community Hospital / Ft. Riley, Kansas for three years. He is concerned about the well being of all of mankind but he is especially concerned with the issues affecting the most vulnerable among us --- children, the elderly, minority and underrepresented populations, the poor and others who have been marginalized and ignored by those who have position and power within our society.
