Nedra H. Joyner is the current chair of the NMA Board of Trustees. She is an Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon). Currently she is Chief of Otolaryngology at Mt.Sinai Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. She also is actively involved as a teaching faculty member at the University of Chicago Hospitals in the Otolaryngology Department. Dr. Joyner has a long and active record of service with the National Medical Association, were she has been a member since 1992. She has served locally in the Cook County Physicians association. She was President of the Prairie State Medical Society and NMA Region IV chairperson from 1998-2002.
